How do i know what is included in my Toyota service?

Your vehicle's full list of scheduled maintenance requirements is detailed in your logbook and varies by model, age and kilometres driven. Below is an overview of what's typically included when you service with us.

Standard Service Inclusions

Air Conditioning Service

System performance, cabin filter condition, condenser and hose connections are all inspected. A well-maintained air conditioning system is essential for comfortable driving in Perth's heat.

Battery Test

We test your battery's performance and condition, particularly important in Perth's hot climate which can shorten battery life. If your battery is showing signs of weakness, we'll discuss replacement options with you.

Brake Inspection

Your braking system is thoroughly inspected, including brake pads, rotors, brake lines and fluid condition. We'll let you know if any components are approaching the end of their service life so you can plan ahead.

Check for outstanding recalls

We check for any outstanding recall campaigns on your vehicle and rectify them during your service visit at no additional cost.

Engine oil and filter change

We replace your engine oil and filter using Toyota-approved oil that meets your vehicle's specifications. Using the correct oil grade is essential for engine longevity, fuel efficiency and maintaining your warranty.

Fluid change

Coolant change at pre-determined service intervals.

Fuel filter and injector

Replace fuel filter at designated intervals.

Fuel system

Inspect condition and connections at each service interval.

Logbook servicing

Maintenance of vehicle at pre-determined intervals.

Multi-point inspection

Inspect all mounting points, hose connections, suspension and fuel system.

Road test

Your vehicle is road tested to confirm all systems are operating normally before we hand it back to you.

Safety inspection

All vehicle safety systems inspected during each maintenance service.

Satellite navigation system update

Free for the first 3 years. Speak to New Town Toyota about your vehicle's specifications for applicability.

Toyota Genuine Accessories

Inspect for correct fitment, check tension of bolts for heavy metal accessories (towbar, bullbar side steps etc).

Toyota Genuine Parts

We only use parts that are designed and tested specifically for your vehicle which keeps your vehicle running smoother for longer. They're also covered by the Toyota Warranty Advantage^[T2].

Transmission service

Vehicle transmission operation and fluid inspected at each pre-determined service interval.

Tyre service

Rotating the position of your tyres to promote even wear, extending their life. New Town Toyota also offers tyre replacement at a competitive price.

Maintaining a Toyota HEV or EV

Along with the relevant standard Toyota Genuine Service inclusions, your Hybrid Electric or Battery Electric vehicle will also undergo diagnostic scans to ensure all systems are in check.

Traction Battery Health Check

We’ll scan your traction battery using a special tool and perform a detailed analysis. This allows us to provide recommendations to support the performance of your traction battery.

Engine Oil

Like a conventional petrol or diesel engine car, your HEV or EV will also need to have its oil changed. Your Owner’s Manual will have engine oil recommendations listed.
