Just picked up a Connected Toyota?
You’re now eligible to access myToyota Connect!Toyota’s official app that gives you visibility, control, and insight into your vehicle, all from your smartphone.
Whether you’re interested in tracking your odometer, using remote features, or just making service bookings easier, it all starts with setup.
Here’s a simple guide to help you get connected and start enjoying everything the app has to offer.
First, download the app from your device’s app store:
The app is free to download and works with eligible Connected Toyota vehicles.
If you already have a myToyota account, just sign in using your email and password.
If you’re new, tap “Create an Account” and follow the prompts. You’ll need to provide:
• Your name
• Email address
• Mobile number
• A secure password
Then verify your email and you’re good to go.
Once logged in, follow the prompts to link your vehicle.
You’ll need one of the following:
• Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) – found on your registration papers or windscreen
• Or your registration number
The app will confirm your vehicle is eligible and walk you through setup.
After linking your car, you’ll be asked to activate Connected Services.
This includes:
• Access to vehicle health updates
• Service reminders
• Drive Pulse and trip data
• Remote features (with Connect+)
You may be prompted to accept terms and conditions for connected data sharing.
Once you’re connected, your personalised dashboard will show key info like:
• Odometer
• Fuel level
• Last parked location
• Service reminders
• App subscription level
Take some time to explore each tab. You’ll also see a prompt to activate Connect+, which unlocks premium features like remote start, lock/unlock, and live vehicle tracking.
Eligible New Toyotas come with a 3-year complimentary trial of Connect+.
Here’s how to activate it:
• Go to the “Subscriptions” tab in the app
• Tap “Start Free Trial” under Connect+
• Follow the prompts to confirm activation
No payment details are required during the trial period. You’ll get full access to remote features, vehicle alerts, and SOS emergency call.
