Here’s what you need to know:
myToyota Connect+ and the Vehicle Locator Feature
If you have an active Connect+ subscription and drive a Connected Toyota,you’ll be able to access Vehicle Locator through the myToyota Connect app.This feature shows your Toyota’s last known location, updated in real-time, on a map right from your phone. In the event of a theft, this could assist police in tracking and recovering your vehicle more quickly.
What You’ll Need for Vehicle Tracking to Work
To use myToyota Connect’s tracking feature during a theft, the following must apply:
• You’re subscribed to Connect+
• Your vehicle is a Connected Toyota (built with the required hardware)
• The vehicle still has mobile signal and battery power
• The myToyota Connect app is active and linked to your vehicle
Important: Toyota cannot remotely track, disable, or recover a stolen vehicle for you. You must report the incident to police.
