Swimming WA & Open Water Swimming

New Town Toyota is thrilled to announce our continued partnership with Swimming WA and the Open Water Swimming Series for another year. As the largest open water event series in Australia, this partnership allows us to support one of the most exciting and inclusive sports in the country.

Swimming WA is the governing body for swimming in Western Australia, dedicated to promoting and developing the sport at all levels. From grassroots programs to elite coaching, Swimming WA offers opportunities for swimmers of all ages and abilities to participate, develop their skills, and compete. Their commitment to fostering excellence, well-being, and community engagement ensures swimming continues to grow as one of Australia’s favourite sports.

The Open Water Swimming Series, organized by Swimming WA, is the largest open water event series in the country. With 12 rounds held across breathtaking locations in Western Australia, and distances ranging from 500m to 10km, this series offers something for every swimmer. Whether you're a beginner looking to take on your first race or an experienced competitor aiming to push your limits, the series creates an accessible and exciting environment for swimmers of all skill levels.

We are proud to support the series by providing three vehicles to Swimming WA for the duration of this agreement, ensuring that they have the resources needed to transport equipment, volunteers, and participants to events across the state.

The Walk for Women’s Cancer is a 35km journey through the beautiful city of Perth, where participants walk—not race—to raise awareness and support for those fighting these devastating cancers. This event is a powerful reminder of the strength, courage, and determination of the women in our lives who are battling breast and ovarian cancer, and it is a chance for us to come together in solidarity to help fund research for kinder treatments and better outcomes.

Tragically, childhood brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death in Australian children, and The Pirate Ship Foundation works tirelessly to change this. Through a range of initiatives, adventures, events, and partnerships, the Foundation is making a meaningful impact on the lives of families affected by this devastating disease.

One of the Foundation’s signature events is their annual fundraising ball, which brings together the community in a powerful show of solidarity and support for children suffering from brain cancer. The ball not only raises essential funds for research but also offers a chance for individuals and businesses to unite and make a difference in the fight against childhood brain cancer.
