Q. How will you be celebrating Fathers Day in the Hub this year?

A. I will be celebrating Fathers Day by spending time with my family at the resort over on the Gold Coast before getting ready for a big game against the Western Bulldogs.

Q. What advice do you have for first-time Fathers out there?

A. Well in terms of Fathers Day you have to milk it because we don’t get too many days during the year where it’s all about us haha, but for first time Fathers I think it’s important to accept that being a Father is going to be tough at times and going to challenge you in a whole different way but to enjoy that challenge because they don’t stay little for long. It’s the best feeling watching your child grow and develop over time.

Q. How do you balance your footy career with Fatherhood?

A. Pretty easy to be honest, our weekly schedule at the club is structured to give us plenty of time to do what we need to during the week, while allowing us plenty of time to spend at home. I have 3 very active boys who love getting out and about and usually when I get home they are coming at me from all angles. I love what I do and love spending time with my family.

Q. What is your favourite pastime with the kids?

A. I’ve got many but one of my favourites would be our trip to the Maldives last year, the boys were in their element they love the water and was such a beautiful place to visit.

Q. How has your first season with the West Coast Eagles been?

A. I’m loving my time so far with the club, I feel at home. Hopefully we can finish the season off strong and give ourselves every opportunity to attack the finals.

Happy Father's Day

New Town Toyota are proud to be a part of the AFL season this year.  Partnering with Tim Kelly, a player who has such strong family values and of course is a great footballer means we are very excited for the rest of the AFL season to play out.

From our family to yours, we wish you all a very happy Father's Day!
