Now in our third year, we’re thrilled to be the title sponsor of the New Town Toyota Walk for Women’s Cancer. As a local family-owned business, our partnership of an event dedicated to the women in our lives and the family and friends who love them is a fantastic fit.

The funds raised through the Walk go towards helping discover kinder treatments and better outcomes for women fighting breast and ovarian cancer.

We invite you to join our team and walk in solidarity in the New Town Toyota Walk for Women’s Cancer on Saturday, 27 April, 2024. This inspiring event supports the life-changing medical research undertaken by the incredible researchers at Perkins Institute. But they can’t do it without the crucial support from the community. Yes, we're looking at you!

We hope you’ll support the cause in 2024 by walking with us or giving a kind donation, if you can.

Recap Walk 2024

In 2023, the Walk raised an incredible $1.54 million. This year we're aiming even higher! Support the cause and register for the 2024 New Town Toyota Walk for Women's Cancer, and help put a stop to cancer.

Walk for Women’s Cancer takes a leap with New Town Toyota

One of Western Australia’s most successful charity walks raising funds for women’s cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research has partnered with New Town Toyota as its title sponsor.

Announcing the partnership, Chief Development Officer at the Harry Perkins Institute, Ms Paige Gibbs, said, "Dealer Principal of New Town Toyota & Kalamunda Toyota Mr Joe Zito is already a long-term supporter of the Harry Perkins Institute through his lengthy association with the MACA Cancer 200 – Ride for Research.  We are delighted he has extended his support for cancer research by choosing to support the Walk for Women’s Cancer."

New Town Toyota is a family run business and the team at New Town Toyota are a great fit for an event dedicated to the women in our lives and the families who love them.

“His motivation for wanting to sponsor this event comes from his passion to give back to a community that has seen him grow New Town Toyota to one of the largest and most successful car dealerships in Australia”, said Ms Paige Gibbs.
