Terms & Conditions


During the Promotion Period, you can enter the #mynewtownfeeling competition (the “Competition”) on the New Town Toyota (the "Promoter") Facebook page. To enter the New Town Toyota #mynewtownfeeling competition during the Promotion Period, 1) visit Facebook (the “Facebook Site”) and either a) log into your Facebook account or b) create a free Facebook account if you do not already have one (please note that you must agree to the Facebook Site’s terms and conditions), 2) upload a photo of you and your Toyota that describes your "New Town Feeling" and 3) use the hashtag #mynewtownfeeling. By entering the Competition, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Limit: One entry per Facebook user per day.

The New Town Toyota #mynewtownfeeling competition begins on Monday 1st August 2016 at 8.00am Western Standard Time (“WST”) and ends on Tuesday 31st July 2017 at 20.00pm Western Standard Time (“WST”) (the “Promotion Period”). 

There will be a total of 12 (twelve) monthly drawing to award 12 (twelve) prizes, 1 (one) each month:


-    Two Caltex fuel vouchers valued at $250 
-    Four New Town Toyota Parts and Accessories Vouchers valued at $250 each*
-    Two Night stays for two people at the Crown Metropol valued at $298**
-    Four New Town Toyota Service Vouchers valued at $250 each***


Prize are not redeemable for cash or transferable. The winners will be decided by using a random selector software ( The winners will be announced on New Town Toyota’ Facebook page within the first week of each month. 

The winners have the responsibility to get in touch with New Town Toyota to arrange the collection of the prize either via a) sending a private message via the Facebook page; b) send a message to New Town Toyota via the contact form on the website; c) call New Town Toyota on 08 9472 2600. If the winners will not contact New Town Toyota for the prize collection within 15 days of the announcement, there will be another draw to award the prize to another entrant.


* The voucher doesn’t include dealer fitment.  

** Nights available will be Sunday – Friday in a  Luxe Room. Block out dates include 31 December 2016. This must be booked by New Town Toyota.

*** This entitles you to a Toyota Genuine Service and does not cover repairs. This is not available to Toyota Service Advantage Eligible vehicles.




THIS COMPETITION IS OPEN TO AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTS ONLY. PARTICIPANTS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. Proof of age and residency may be required before collecting the prize (legally issued document). The competition is not open to New Town Toyota’s team members or their relatives.

By entering the competition, the entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the competition or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.

By entering the New Town Toyota #mynewtownfeeling competition you agree to have your name and photo published in all collateral relating to the competition for an unlimited period without remuneration for promotional purposes. The name and a photo of the winner may be published on New Town Toyota’s Facebook page and on other online media (blog, website). 

Please remember that, depending on your Facebook privacy settings, we may not be able to see you post. There are a number of factors that can determine whether or not a hashtag is pulled in, including:

    •    Overall popularity of the hashtag (less-used hashtags are less frequently indexed by Facebook)

    •    Whether both the post and and the poster have public accounts

    •    Whether the post has been posted within the last week

Unless the post has the correct privacy settings, it will simply not be available via the Facebook API.

There is no guarantee that you will be able to see every Facebook Hashtag Post and some posts may just not work. 

By participating in the New Town Toyota #mynewtownfeeling competition, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of New Town Toyota, Cnr Welshpool Rd & Swansea St, East Victoria Park WA 6101, whose decisions shall be final and legally binding in all respects. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. You completely release Facebook from any and all liability.
